An avid golfer in his free time, Amin Andy Lakha currently serves as the CEO of Lakha Investments and the president of Premier Center Management, a real estate investment firm that specializes in commercial property.

The CEO of Lakha Investments LLC, in Bellevue, Washington, Amin Andy Lakha enjoys playing golf in his free time. Amin Andy Lakha’s favorite courses include Shadow Creek, located not far north of Las Vegas.
A world-class golf oasis in the middle of a barren desert, Shadow Creek made major waves at the time of construction. Today, this brainchild of casino developer Steve Wynn continues to attract players from around the world.
In some ways, Shadow Creek is the perfect extension of the madness that characterizes Las Vegas. Wynn decided to build it in the mid-1980s, purportedly after a Japanese businessman lost several million dollars at the Mirage. He chose a 350-acre site and hired Tom Fazio to design the layout.
According to rumors, Wynn told Fazio that he wanted waterfalls, lakes, exotic birds, and hundreds of types of trees on the course. The final product is not far off from these lofty demands, though it remains heavily guarded by a tall fence that blocks any views until players come inside. Photography is forbidden among players, and even the airspace above is protected by the presence of a nearby military base. Despite the mystery, the course ranked among the top 10 in the world within years of the completion of construction.

Based in Bellevue, Washington, Amin Andy Lakha heads the Lakha Investment Company, LLC, and oversees coordinated development and commercial property management activities. Passionate about golf, Amin Andy Lakha enjoys teeing off at premier courses such as Shadow Creek in Las Vegas and the Pebble Beach Golf Links.
With much of California getting pummeled by major storms in early 2017, Pebble Beach on the Monterey Peninsula was no exception. The coastal course experienced the brunt of an “atmospheric river event” that created major headaches for groundskeepers and ensured that only the hardiest braved the elements.
Inclement weather is a longstanding part of Pebble Beach lore and according to Golf Digest even has a unique name, “Crosby weather.” This monicker recalls the dicey conditions in which the Bing Crosby National Pro-Am (currently the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am) was played on numerous occasions.
The top class tournament takes place each February at Pebble Beach, as well as nearby Shore Course at Monterey Peninsula Country Club and Spyglass Hill Golf Course. With charity a major tournament element, regular participants include comedian Bill Murray, as well as San Francisco Giants and 49ers athletes.

A longtime Bellevue, Washington, entrepreneur, Amin Andy Lakha guides all aspects of complex development projects, from property acquisition to lease management. Amin Andy Lakha is also involved in philanthropic efforts that benefit the less fortunate and contributes to nonprofits such as the Aga Khan Development Network.
The charitable organization supports a wide range of humanitarian efforts in areas from education to health. One signature project involves a school safety initiative in Tajikistan, which is on the World Bank’s list of “disaster hot spot” nations. From 1980 to 2010, more than 6 million people in the country were affected by earthquakes and other natural disasters.
The current program was piloted in 2009 in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Tajikistan government, and involved the retrofitting of a dozen schools across an earthquake-prone region. The schools had been constructed through shared community labor three decades ago and were in a state of deterioration. Interventions completed included the strengthening of foundations, seismic netting for walls, and new pillars to help hold up roofs. Shortly after completion, the schools successfully withstood major tremblors that hit the region.

The children's division introduces music and movement to pre-kindergarten through age 7. Amin Andy Lakha serves as CEO of Lakha Investments, where he pursues real estate investments throughout Washington State. With a passion for fine dining, Amin Andy Lakha has a particular interest in molecular gastronomy, which involves using scientific methods to deconstruct food and measure the interactions of ingredients as they are combined and cooked.
This approach to food was pioneered by Hervé This, in the conviction that the “kitchen of the future” will contain component parts of foods, rather than whole ingredients. For example, containers of ingredients for cooking will be arranged as powders and liquids according to their makeup at the molecular level, such as amino acid, sucrose, glucose, and cellulose.
As featured in The Atlantic, This has further refined his approach to “note-by-note recipes,” which utilize chemical compounds as a way of avoiding food waste and ensuring that food can be delivered to the maximum number of people on a crowded planet. Classic cooking techniques such as baking and frying are combined with novel methods such as spherification and dehydration. In addition, ingredients are chosen that fulfill the same function as familiar ones. For example, pasta is replaced by powdered wheat starch, and heavy cream with the seaweed extract carrageenan.
