For more than two decades, Amin Andy Lakha has headed the real estate investment and development firm Lakha Investments. Recreationally, Amin Andy Lakha enjoys traveling and has visited a large number of different countries around the world. One of his favorites destinations is Cannes, France, a quaint city perhaps best known as the host of the internationally acclaimed film festival.

Cannes is situated along the Mediterranean Sea and visitors can see the true beauty of the water on La Croisette, a promenade that follows the water’s shore for about a mile. Another great way to experience the water is by visiting the old port. While walking along the port provides some great sights, individuals may want to consider booking a boat ride. Visitors should give themselves enough time to see the incredible yachts docked at the harbor.

The best views of the city are in Le Suquet, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the town. When it comes time to actually experience the city, individuals should head to Rue d’Antibes, which is Cannes’ answer to Fifth Avenue. Of course, visitors should also experience Palais des Festivals, which is where the film festival takes place. The Walk of Fame there features handprints from famous festival participants.
