A Handful of Chicago’s Michelin-Starred Restaurants

An experienced real estate development professional, Amin Andy Lakha serves as the CEO of Lakha Investments and the president of Premier Centers Management. Recreationally, Amin Andy Lakha has a passion for food and enjoys dining at restaurants with Michelin stars. One of his favorites is Chicago’s Alinea, which has three Michelin stars. Alongside Alinea, Chicago offers several other Michelin-starred dining experiences.

Grace, which also has three stars, is a fine-dining establishment headed by chef Curtis Duffy. It has maintained its three stars for three years.

Among the two-starred restaurants are 42 Grams, which operates much like a supper club, with extravagant tasting menus; Oriole, which has been praised by all of Chicago’s food critics; and Sixteen, which offers imaginative tasting menus and a great view of the city. Tru also makes the list, having recently upgraded from one to two stars.

More than a dozen Chicago restaurants have one Michelin star, including the brewpub Band of Bohemia and Longman & Eagle, where home classics like sloppy joes get a fine-dining makeover.
