The Seattle Art Museum's Services for Educators

From his headquarters in Bellevue, Washington, Amin Andy Lakha manages all aspects of Lakha Investments’ real estate projects. Away from his work, Amin Andy Lakha is a supporter of the arts who has a longstanding association with the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). In addition to offering a range of educational programs aimed at students, such as its guided tours, SAM oversees initiatives designed to supplement educator knowledge.

SAM’s educational workshops offer K-12 teachers and administrators the opportunity to learn new techniques for bringing art and popular culture together in the classroom. Educators gain access to free resources via the workshops and can connect with SAM’s exhibitions.

Further, SAM offers bespoke training sessions for groups of educators, which are workshop sessions that it holds both on and off site.

Educators also have the opportunity to enjoy sneak previews of upcoming exhibitions via SAM’s Educator Previews program. Participants benefit from curator talks and tours, allowing them to prepare lessons based on future SAM exhibitions.
